Windows 7 Pro doesn't show all GPO deployed printers
Hi , We are using Windows 7 pro machines in our Lab . We are deploying Printers through GPO ( per machine GPO) to these machines. However out of appr.20 machines 6-7 machines can not see all the printers deployed through GPO i.e Printer1, printer2 Printer4 appears however Printer 3 and Printer 5 doesn't appear. If i try to manually add printer through command rundll32 printui.dll,Printentuientry /ga /n command it says printer already exist . This means the network printer has been deployed but for some reason its not showing up in Devices and printers .. any idea why its not showing up? mp

Hi, Can you install the printer with GUI? And whether the prompting also occur? You may refer the following lin to clear printing subsystem on these computers and try again. http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w7itprohardware/thread/ff17456a-3339-4dd8-a0b3-607d1a02ea8b Also, you may type printmanagement.msc in the Start Menu search field to check the printer status. Please remember to click “Mark as Answer” on the post that helps you, and to click “Unmark as Answer” if a marked post does not actually answer your question. This can be beneficial to other community members reading the thread. ”
