Windows 7 Pro Spooler Service Problem
Windows 7 version - 6.1.7600. Print Spooler service shows as started and is set for automatic. Stop and start spooler and it works most of the time. This is happening on a few others in the area as well. Some research on this has been done with Server
support and Network support all of which cannot find any problems. It happens when they first log in (Random) and if they leave the workstation for an extended amount of time, the screen is set to dim and to supply password to reactivate session.
Turned off screen save feature and it happened again. It is not happening to everyone at the same time. (Very Random) I have checked %win%\%sys32% for spoolerSV.exe and any other files such as spoolerSV.exe.org. No errors on the screen, nothing,
just to the bit bucket. The only thing I can think of that I have not tried is, remove the drivers from the server and the queue and redo. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
What kind of issue you encounter? I guess maybe your issue is that the spooler service can not start with the system or stop itself automatically. If so, you may refer to the following link.

I suspect this issue may be caused by your printer driver, so try to update it to the latest version. Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
