Windows 7 Pro Backup will not run

Follow these steps and check if it helps.
Step 1:
I would first suggest you to check if the Volume Shadow Copy service is running.
a) Click on Start, type Services in Start Search. When the Services page is open, check forVolume Shadow Copy service.
b) Right click on Volume Shadow Copy service (VSS) and Check if it is started.
c) If it is stopped select Start or Restart.
Check whether you can try creating the restore points after starting the service
Step 2:
Note: please take a backup of WindowsBackup file and then delete it
a. Open command prompt by clicking Start and typing CMD in the start search box.
b. Right click on CMD and select Run as Administrator.
c. Type cd %windir%\system32\tasks\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsBackup
d. del AutomaticBackup
e. del "Windows Backup Monitor"
f. Restart the backup again by opening Backup and restore center from the Control Panel.
Step 3:
Delete the task from the task scheduler
a. Click Start, type Task Scheduler and hit enter.
b. In the left pane, Navigate under Task Scheduler Library->Microsoft->Windows->WindowsBackup folder
c. Delete Automatic Backup task
d. Delete Windows Backup Monitor task
e. Try to Restart the backup again by opening Backup and restore center from theControl Panel.

When I try to do a Backup in Windows 7 Pro it starts the backup then says (The task image is corrupt or has been tampered with (OX80041321
I have no idea what this means, Please Help.
