Windows 7 Pro, Several BSOD, latest is: NETIO.SYS.... Running out of ideas!
Hi All, I'm really hoping someone can help on this as it's driving me nutz! A little background: We started a hardware upgrade policy at work recently, we're now running Windows Server 2008R2 with around 35 client machines. We've built 30 custom desktops with the following spec;Chassis - Asus TA-250MB - Asus P5P43TD PROGraphics - Palit GeForce 9500GT 1024mb DDR2 PCI-ExpressRAM: 4gb (2x2gb) G-Skill Ripjaws DDR3 PC3-10666 1333MHz Dual channel kitHDD: 250gb Maxtor Diamondmax 23 3.5" SATAII, 7200RPM, 8mb CachePSU: Coolermaster 500wCD/DVD: Toshiba SH-S223B Generic multi-card reader/writerOS: Windows 7 Pro (volume license)Office 2007 Small BusinessSage 200Adobe CS4 PremierAll drivers have been updated to the latest version and the bios has been flashed. We've rolled out 10 of the machines so far, using an image for build to save complete installs. 4 of the machines have been blue screening since day 1 with various errors, most are relating to IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL or Paging File errors, I have dozens of minidumps and have tried opening them with windbg but having issues with symbols in the program. We've tried swapping hardware from machines that are working fine and no change. I'm sure this is relating to either RAM or the Graphics Card but can't yet prove it. Most of the machines are fine and have no problem which is odd as they are exactly the same spec and image. it doesn't happen during any particular use. My own machine crashes the most and this has been during either file moves in windows explorer or sometimes when the machine has been left idle overnight or even just writing an e-mail with just IE running. No idea where to go from here so desperate for help please! Thanks guys n galsJason

upload the dumps to your public SkyDrive folder and post the link here. NetIO.sys is part of the networking function of WIndows. So try to update the network card drivers."A programmer is just a tool which converts caffeine into code" CLIP- Stellvertreter http://www.winvistaside.de/

Hi, As Andre mentioned, please uninstall the network adapter and reinstall it in Compatibility Mode for a test. If there is no driver for Windows 7 64 bit, you can install the driver for Windows Vista 64 bit instead. If the issue persists, please also try the following steps. 1. Boot the computer in Clean Boot for a test. 2. Temporarily disable all unnecessary hardware devices in Device Manager, such as Modem, sound card or external device. For detail steps, we can refer to the link below: Device Clean Boot If the issue persists, please upload the minidump file (%systemroot%\minidump) to SkyDrive ( www.skydrive.live.com ), then share the link to me. I will be glad to assist you to analysis the data. Thanks, Novak
