Windows 7 Parental control: time limit problems
Hi, I use Time restriction. I (Only Administrator Account) have allowed one user (Standard Account type) to use computer from 10 to 11 hour. The problem is that, the user is unable to log in to the account even after 10.03 hour. Then i changed the timing to 9 to 11 hour, which allowed user to log in. At 10.59 hour, the icon in taskbar showed 1 min remaining. Surprisingly, at 11.00 hour the timer again switched to 59 min remaining. I have updated my Windows to date. Can anyone solve my problem?

I don't use that, but it sounds like a windows issue to me. Your best bet might be to look into Windows Live Family safety which may work better in your situation.

My timezone has 30 min offset also along with hours offset from GMT (IST => GMT+05:30). Even if the time restriction is a rounded hour, the function works with additional 30 minute offset. For example if the permitted time is 10 AM to 11 AM, then the limited access user can login at 10:30 AM :). Looks like there is a gap in the functionality.
