Hi, I just installed windows 7 RC and my sound doesn't work anymore and also i can't download adobe flash player because it tells me to select an operating system and windows 7 isn't there and vista version doesn't work.. someone help me. windows 7 sucks.....

Try this go to the tool bar on the bottom of your screen find the speaker icon. Double click make sure to select a sound device like speakers. As for adobe flash player which versionof windows 7 did you install 32bit or 64bit? Let us know so we can advise. Regards J

32-bit and when i right double click the speaker it just brings up a troubleshooter and tries to fix it, but doesn't. so i right clicked the speaker and went to volume control options and the sound devices box was blank..

It sounds like a driver issue. First create a restore point on your PC then search for the lastest drivers for your sound card, upgrade the driver.I know it's a pain but give it a shot.

yea i've been trying to do this. i even bought that stupid driver device program for 30 dollars, but it didn't even install all of the outdated drivers i had... i don't know where to go. i have an hp dv5163cl Notebook PC it's a laptop. can you show me where to get the drivers? i need a lot of drivers. a lot are outdated, but i don't know where to go to get them.

i think it's cause windows 7 is so new they don't even have drivers for it lakdfj;klasjf;l askjdf;l aksjdfk;l asjdfla sdvj;kndsjnvlkmadsnf;klan;dkfl. i hate testing new stuff when no one makes software for it.

DUDE! that guy that deleted the post. those were the drivers i needed. why did he delete them! It worked. i forgot the guys username. but my sound works now. :) i'm still missing a lot of driver updates though, but hey i have sound! :) i'm going to try and install adobe flash player now. thanks stranger.

I FIXED EVERYTHING! THANKS FOR THE HELP . :) I still have some outdated drivers, but things seem to be working well.
