Windows 7 Offline Files not caching all files or folders
Hi - Is there a fix for problems with Windows 7 offline files on the cards? We use redirected folders on server 2008 and under XP offline files appears to work well. However under Windows 7 the sync centre appears to only sync some of the users redirected folder from the server. I have found one work round but it extremely tedious and thats to do every file and folder individually..... So far I have tried refresh Offline File cache database, set up the user again on another laptop running Win 7, tried a different user on the same laptop and a different one still the same result, also checked to make sure sapce isn't an issue which it isn't. Has anyone else copme across this issue or know a fix that I could try that I haven't already done? Andy

Do the users make use of either roaming profiles or connectivity to DFS folder targets?

No to both questions. The other thing I have noticed on the after I have have selected the users folder (My Docs) to Sync. When it completes what the machine is able to Sync if you shutdown the machine(s) or log off then log back in as that user it seem to take 10 to 15 mins to actually loggin to the usrs account.
