Windows 7 Offline Files, Synchrionisation and Bugs
All
I would like to find out if anyone has suffered from the same issues we are during migration from W2k/XP to Windows 7. Having implemented folder redirection with offline files user now have the ability to roam freely around the enterprise and have access
to all data required. The problem exists when Windows 7 seems to transistion into offline Slow link mode and users are unaware. Somehow they lose access drive mappings and files do not sync back to the server. Upon checking the relevent event logs I cannot
see that the machine did in fact transition to offline mode as a result of the latency being above the default 80ms.
I did however come across a hotfix from MS that may explain it.

Thanks again.
