All my programs have a .Ink extension and will not open correctly. I tred the program defaults and this did not resolve my problem. What is the cause of this problem?

I installed this program but it did not run? Do I need to reboot?

Hi alphaomega99, Please first try changing the file association by going to Start -> Control Panel -> View by: Large icons -> Default Programs -> Associate a file type or protocol with a program. Thank you. I had already tried changing the defaults in windows. This did not fix the problem. I will consider your 2nd recommendation on fixing a corrupted user profile. A friend at work had installed windows 7 on my computer several months ago and it was working fine until last Sunday. It does not appear to be a genuine copy . . . could this be the problem?

I don't think this validation issue is related to this .Ink extension issue. J You can post a new thread for the validation issue.
