Windows 7 No Firewall Port Exceptions?!?
I'm using a copy of Windows 7 Build 7100 which I believe to be the RC copy. I am not 100% sure as I had to torrent it due to several corrupt downloads direct from microsoft with there download manager.Anyway to the point I am trying to forward some ports as exceptions through the Windows firewall. Only problem is that there is no option in this firewall to do it. I only have the options to allow another program, Details and Remove. I have seen screenshots of people that have "Add Port" in theres but I do not have this in mine. Is there an option to turn this on? Have i missed something or is this a possible "lost feature" or a "bug"?Best Regards

works fine here you can allways check the SHA-1 check sum to make sure you have the real deal...If you open your firewall then click on advanced settings you dont have a option to make a inbound or outbound rule? I believe this is differant from vista so it might take a bit of getting used to for sure totally different then the XP firewall Please Folks don't forget to mark questions solved if you get a answer or a fix to your question. That way they will show up as green and save people time that are here to help by not click on red ones that are already answered ..Thanks Java is correct, I checked mine out and it is MUCH different that the XP fire wall, but it looks to be all there plus some.
