Windows 7 Network Problem Help (Disable the network and enabling it starts working)
Hi Guys. Everytime i start the pc the internet doesnt work. it showes connected from right bottom of the screen. What i do is click on network then go to network and sharing center, here it shows me 2 Network, i click in local area connection, status then manually disable it and after few sec i go back in change adapter settings, here i see both the local area connectons. i enable the 1 which shows disable and internet start working again. I have to do this every single time i turn my pc on. Does anyone know how i can fix this. please help. Ali

Hi, When the Internet doesn’t work, please run “ipconfig /all” (without quotations) in a command prompt and compare the output with a good computer; or, you can post here and we will help you check it. At this time, please also try the following: 1. Boot the system to Safe Mode with networking and see how it works. 2. Update the NIC driver. 3. Update the firmware of your router. If the issue persists, please also let us know the brand and model of the NIC and router. Thanks. Nicholas Li - MSFT

Hi, I am facing the same issue on Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit. I have updated the driver, but still nothing. Any help would be great!! -Amit Kapoor

it appears that your motherboard has two NICs in it. My advice is to disable the NIC which isn't connected under "Change adapter settings".
