Windows 7 Network Issues slow connection and loosing gateway address
There are 50 computers in our office and 20 of these are having network issues. These issues did not begin until we did an office wide upgrade to Windows 7. We have 3 windows 7 enterprise x64 bit and the rest are 32 bit. We use all Dell computers - some have Intel Network cards and some use Broadcom network cards. All computers have updated drivers for both network cards. I used a command script to stop the offload. netsh int ip set global taskoffload=disabled This seems to help a little but slowly the computers have slow internet connection. We run a T1 using cat 6 connections and have checked our switched for functionality and the connections are live from the wall. Our temproray fix is to uninstall the network adapater - shut down the computer - wait a 30 seconds then turn the system on to reinstall. Again this is temporary and really troublesome when every employee calls you in the morning after they restart their system. Any suggestion that I may be missing... pretty please please!!!!

Hi, You may refer the following to resolve your issue accordingly. 1. Disable Auto-tuning. Please refer to the following steps: 1) Click Start, click All Programs, and then click Accessories. a. Right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as Administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation. b. At the command prompt, type the following command, and then press ENTER: netsh interface tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled c. This command disables the Receive Window Auto-Tuning feature. d. Close the Command Prompt window. e. Restart the computer. 2. To check whether you have more than one DHCP server in your subnet. 3. To disable Offload you can also setup it in your adapter driver’s option. 4. Try to update your adapter’s driver to latest version.
