Windows 7 Mandatory Profile
Hi everyone I having trouble making a Windows 7 mandatory profile. We have a Windows Server 2003 Domain. I need to make a mandatory profile for a user but I am getting the same error every time. I logged on a Computer with the user I wanna made the mandatory account, set up everything he needs, copy the user profile through the User Profiles windows in Advanced System Settings to the folder named "manUser.V2". manUser.V2 folder is in a shared folder with everyone full control permissions. I put the credentials to full control for the user on manUser.V2 folder and point in the AD Users and Computers to "\\servername\Profiles\manUser" (without the ".V2"). When I try to login to a computer I am getting the same message that Windows 7 cannot load the profile so it will start with the temp profile. Can anyone help me to resolve the problem because it begins to annoy me very much... Thanks in advance...

Hi, Thanks for posting in Microsoft TechNet Forum. Did you rename Ntuser.dat to Ntuser.man? Cloud you find any clues in Event Viewer? Meanwhile, it also could be related to the permission, you should check the permission on this profile folder, for more information, please kindly refer to the following link: How to customize the default local user profile when you prepare an image of Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, Windows 7, and Windows Server 2008 R2 Hope it helps.
