Windows 7 Machine Unable to be Ping'ed
I am having an issue with pinging a certain computer on our domain. I recently cloned a hard drive that was joined to our domain from a 64GB SSD to a 128GB SSD. I then made sure that the machine with the 128GB was off and I put the 64GB drive into a machine that is exactly like the first machine. I then removed the 64GB from the domain, changed its name and then rejoined it to the domain. It still is not able to be located by pinging although it is found in AD. Do I need to rebuild the entire computer and is it quite possibly an SID issue?
