I am having issues recreating this but it has happened 3-4 times, it seems that when the system goes into sleep after the default 30 minute period of inactivity, and APM tries to power everything back, the fans kick in to high gear and the systsem locks up and will not come out of sleep mode. For now I have set it to never sleep, but wondered if there is a patch etc, or can I upload a trace etc? so that MS can take a look? Thanks all... Billy
