Windows 7 Keeps File session open in XP
Hi All, Using net use \\computername\folder /username password command from Windows 7 to create a network share on windows XP. the folder gets created in Windows XP and a new session opens. when i use net session in XP i see the session is open. Once in Windows 7 i use: Net use \\computername/folder /d I close my session from windows 7 and it supposed to be closed in XP, but in XP still shows my session open!! the session gets closed after 20 sec and supposed to be instant with no delay. If i do the same action from one XP PC to another XP PC, as soon as, i close the session in one XP pc the other XP PC shows my session closed immediately, with no time delay. Is there a way to make this happens instant between XP & Windows7, same as two Windows XP PC. Thanks
