With the latest set of updates, around 4-5 days ago, a new problem developed which I haven't seen discussed anywhere. Internet explorer doesn't load up when I click on it's icon. The hard disk clunks but no explorer window appears. No error is displayed. Very odd. Very occasionally it does load up, perhaps once a day, but then stops loading again after a few minutes. Dan,You can review the latest updates by right-clicking on the 'Action Center' flag, then choosing 'Open Windows Update'. On the window that opens, at the very bottom of the left pane is the 'Installed Updates' link. You can sort by date and see what was installed.Before you uninstall anything, you might want to go into the Control Panel and choose Internet Options. When that window opens, go to the Advanced tab and near the bottom is a Reset... button to reset Internet Explorer to it's default condition. You might also want to go back to the General tab and clear your temporary internet files.

Based on my known, a corrupt add-on could cause the problem. I have following suggestion. Run IE without Add-ons ============================= 1. Click Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, Internet Explorer (No Add-ons). 2. Visit website in this IE and test the issue. . If still cannot be run, please try to run it as administrator. Hope it helps.

Problem is now trying to find the corrupt add-on. Any ideas on how to run a "log" to see which one is crapping out?
