Windows 7 Internet Explorer Problems
I have two web sites that are not working properly under windows 7 unless you logon as an administrator. One of them is our payrol site and the other is our health care site. You are able to logon to the web site with no problems but when you try to fill out one of the forms on the site you are sent back to the sites logon page. If you logon to the computer with administrator rights everything works fine. These sites also work fine under Windows XP with IE8.

Hi, According to the problem description, the ActiveX conflicts with UAC or account rights. With UAC enabled, the lowest privilege is assigned to users. We need to elevate the privilege level when performing administrative functions. By doing this, unintentional operations can be prevented to protect the system. You may try to disable UAC to test the issue. If the standard user have no correct rights to run the ActiveX, you may try to right click Internet Explorer and select Run as administrator to check the result. Regards, Arthur Li - MSFT
