Windows 7 IE 8 stopped working
My IE stopped working when I go to open IE it comes up with a warning to restart from last page or home page either one I try says windows is searching for a problem then shuts down IE, I tried to remove IE8 from Windows features and reinstall same issue when I first installed two days earlier I it worked fine, I have no add-onsAny help would be greatBasically in event viewer it says application cannot not find iexplorer.exe cannot find pathIt is a celeron 2.6 ghz with 2Gb of ram

that did not work, there is not an under the key listed for explorer or iexplorer, my vista machine has iexplorer in the key and it works fine, I went cmd line to internet explorer directory ddi iexplorer.exe i worked closed IE and same problem again

dkef - Check under C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer for any trace of iexplore.exe. If you've got the 64 bit variation, check under C:\Program Files (X86)\...

dkef - Ok... So what happens if you double click on the EXE directly?
