Windows 7 Home wireless client disturbs other (Vista/XP) clients
This happened thrice: 1. My colleague at work got a new Acer Windows 7 Home Basic, when he connected to the wireless network with Shared WEP security, my connection from Vista dropped. Reconnecting worked but with repeated disturbance. 2. My another colleague got a Dell Windows 7 Home Professional, when he connected to wireless network, same issues. 3. At my home my relative came with a Viao Windows 7 Home Basic, set him up to connect to my home wireless with WPA security same issues. The problem goes away once the Windows 7 machine is out of network. A post says so: "I had the exact same issue. I disabled the HomeGroup Provider and Listener on the Windows 7 machine. And then rebooted both the machines (Windows 7 and Vista). It fixed the problem. Both machines were able to connect to the wireless router. HomeGroup Provider/Listener service on the Windows 7 is the culprit." refer: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/77-63-windows-wired-computer-prevents-wireless-connections-router Yet to try, any clues or existing threads on above? Thanks, Vasu

Hi Vasu, you can try to perform the suggestion from that thread you have searched. Furthermore, you can try to use cable connect with router to see if the same issue appears. Also you can set the ICS for PC with Windows 7 Set up a shared Internet connection using ICS (Internet Connection Sharing) Hope it helps.
