Windows 7 Home Premium No signal to Monitor after Hibernation HELP
Kind of a strange random problem I got here. I woke up the other day and tried to turn my computer on after it had been hibernating for the night, to my shock the monitor wasnt getting a signal of any kind. So i messed with the cords, tried a few restarts, turn the monitor on and off. Nothing worked. Finally i popped the case open and gave it a good dusting, took the video card out and cleaned that really well too. It was fairly dusty so i thought maybe that was the problem. So After cleaning the video card it worked, the monitor got the signal and started going through the start up motions. At the time i thought nothing of it, but half way through start up Windows asked me If i wanted to resume windows like before, or delete the log and proceed. Or something ot that nature, maybe someone else knows a bit more. So if i choose to resume windows, the monitor died but worked after a restart. If i choose to delete the resume file or whatever and just start normally, everything worked fine. That is until i went to bed and it hibernated again and i had to repeat the whole process. At first i thought it was the video card, but thats probably not the problem. Anybody else have this happen? Ive disabled hibernation for now and it seems to be working fine, but i would like to fix what ever the problem is. Thanks for any help.
