Windows 7 Home Edition 64-bit wont boot, startup repair doesn't work
My laptop wont boot-have tried last good configuration, safe mode, system file checker, CHKDSK, changing BIOS settings, startup repair, windows memory diagnostics tool, etc. it has intel core 2 duo, 4 gb ddr3 ram, 454 gb hard drive, nvidia geforce
9800m gts with 1gb dedicated ram. do not have a windows 7 disk or backups. my hard drive seems to be working-can browse through it with notepad launched with cmd. haven't recently installed anything.

Hi,
Before going any further, I would like to verify what error message appear when you boot PC?
This issue can be caused by the system crash or some system files broken and missing.
Since you haven’t a Windows 7 installation disk, I suggest unplugging all necessary hardware, and perform a system Restore:
Enter the Window Recovery Environment as you did before, choose System Restore and restore to a date before this issue happening.
You can also try restoring the BIOS to default settings. For the detailed steps, please refer to the Motherboard/Computer manual
