Windows 7 HP SP1 64bit crashes on browsing

Have you tried to see if yo have the same problem in Safe Mode? If you don't then you have to see what other services are causing the problem. Do a comparison on the services started in safe mode and then you can start them one by one, until you computer crashes. Another option would be to slipstream SP1 to the windows dvd and then reinstall the entire OS. Please do not forget to select the best answer if it helps you! To add, we also reseated the RAM and ran CHDSK. We had the services stopped in normal and will try in safe mode to see what that does
