Windows 7 Floppy Disk Drive
Hi Currently using Windows 7 Enterprise and Windows 7 Ultimate. In the My Computer Disk Drives the Floppy Disk Drive (A:) shows. This is a bit amusing because thre is no Floppy disk Drive attached to the system. The only thing I can think of is the BIOS. Would this have an impact on Startup and Shutdown of Windows 7? Regards

Yes is due to the floppy disk drive option is enable in bios thus my computer is showing. It wouldn't affect much but during POST (power on self test) it would search for a floppy disk drive prior to booting into windows. You might want to have it disable in bios if you find it taking up some time or irritating.
