Windows 7 Explorer doesn't automatically refresh when moving/deleting/closing Access (leaves .laccdb)
There is a long thread of information about this that goes back over two years. I have yet to find any "fix" that works. Also, the "Part 2" link does not work. http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w7itproui/thread/09fd46ff-65f1-4fa7-ae2d-9f3b2644fad6 Has anyone been able to resolve this issue? Is anyone at Microsoft reading these forums???

Perhaps this topic is closed to Office or MSDN forum. My guess is that while Access seems to finish properly, there is something open, that prevents Explorer to refresh corectly. Process Monitor from Sysinternal would help you to get deeper into this phenomenon. To dig into laccdb file use http://extension.nirsoft.net/laccdb To find who is keeping database, use http://support.microsoft.com/kb/285822/en-us Regards Milos

I don't know how to do whatever you just said, Milos. How about if you try your suggestion, and tell us what you find.

I had this problem. I found a fix for me. The problem occurs when accessing the directory through your Favorites if you added the folder to Favs from your library. Try accessing the folder through Computer and see if the issue is resolved. You can add to Favs from Computer, and the issue is gone. Sweet relief!

I would never have thought of that in a million years, but it seems to work for me too. Thank you!
