Windows 7 Explorer Missing Details Bar
I have an HP Elitebook 8440p laptop running Windows 7 Enterprise version 6.1 (build 7600). When I open Windows Explorer (not Internet Explorer) the little bar on the right pane at the top that used to say "Name, Date, Size, Folder" etc., is missing. It used to be there and all my co-workers who have the same company issued laptop and software have it, so it's not something that was missing to begin with. My impression is that I hit some combination of keys mistakenly and that action removed/hid the details bar. My Explorer window has "path" bar at the top with the search window to the right. Below that is the menu bar with "File, Edit, View, Tools, and Help." Below that is "Organize, Include in library, Share with, and New Folder." I have tried all the possible combinations of Tools/Folder Options that there are with no change. Right clicking on the toolbars or in the details pane doesn't show anything helpful. Several searches have led nowhere and I even have the local Microsoft Rep looking for an answer for me. I appreciate any insight! Rick
