Windows 7 Evaluation - cannot find download
Hi, I am wanting to download the Windows 7 90 day evaluation version so that i can get used to this operating system before purchasing the full version plus use it to help study towards the 70-680 exam. I have registered my profile correctly on the microsoft site and i am now on the Technet Evaluation Centre webpage....i cannot see anywhere on this page where i download the windows 7 evaluation trial. It just comes up with springboard series, thankyou for your interest in windows 7 message. Please can someone point me in the right direction where i am going wrong? from what i have been told this 90 day trial is availible to anyone for free.CheersJ

Hi,Thanks for the link, unfortunatly i am still having the problems i experienced before. I click on the link you gave me, choose the version that i want (32 or 64 bit) i then get to the online form which has my details in and click continue at the bottom of the page. From here it just says 'Thank you for your interest in Windows 7! The evaluation version you are attempting to download is for IT Professionals only. Click here to learn more about the Windows 7 consumer experience.'I have waited about 3 hours just incase it is downloading it in the background but nothing happens, there does not appear to be a download now button for me to click on that i can see. Many ThanksJ

Hi,You can get around that by simply selecting the IT Pro option in the list that describes your background. Try again.

Hi,You can get around that by simply selecting the IT Pro option in the list that describes your background. Try again. What Magon says is accurate. I had tyo help an associate just Friday with the very same question. It is only technically availabe to IT pros, so if you select anything else (I haven't tried them all) you will not get the option for the download.
