Hi all,my first time posting here, but now that Win 7 is available to download I am wondering what the difference between Enterprise and Ultimate version? Is it that Enterprise does not need activation? Not 100% sure which I should download.Thanks for the helpPatrick

Enterprise gives you the ability to activate against a KMS server and it uses a MAK code.

That was the only other difference between the two.

Why is there a file size difference between windows 7 ultimate and Enterprise? Windows 7 Enterprise (x64) 2,976.62 (MB) Windows 7 Ultimate (x64) 3,075.30 (MB) Windows 7 Enterprise (x86) 2,289.20 (MB) Windows 7 Ultimate (x86) 2,385.99 (MB) Is there a slight difference or extra feature in one of the versions? What is causing the file size to be different if they are the same?

While the Enterprise DVD contains only one edition (the Enterprise one), the other DVD contains all consumer editions (Ultimate, Home, Professional) at once.

Parental control is missing from Enterprise edtion but exist in all others editions. May be it is the only difference betwenn Utilimate and Enterprise!!!

Enterprise has games but they are not enabled by default, you have to enable them in optional components.

not true the biggest thing about windows 7 that many professionals like is the fact that it dosnt come with little "nic nacks" like games and meida players etc. butare easilyavailable from mircosoft for free but other than that real no differnce

What about simultaneous user sessions? I have Vista Ultimate, butI cannot remote desktop to it and login as a different user while someone else is logged into the console. But I can do that with Windows 2003/20088 servers at work. Will Windows 7 Ultimate or Enterprise have the same limitation as Vista Ultimate?
