Windows 7 Enterprise IE8 has become VERY slow
I am using Win7 64 Enterprise and lately for no reason I can determine IE8 has become extreemly slow and almost completely unresponsive. If I leave it for a few minutes it will eventually load sites like Google but sites with more content will load
much slower.

Also, I have 2 other browsers. Firefox which has no problems with load times at all. Also I use Maxthon which utilizes the IE8 engine and it seems to work fine as well. It's just IE8 that is causing this slowdown.
It's a strange problem since it does eventually load the content but it is very slow taking 1 to 5 minutes to load a site. I have tried the normal stuff like disabling add-ons or clearing content but nothing has impacted this issue.
Any suggestions?

Hi ,
First ,you can use the tool
“troubleshooting” to find and fix the problem , Control panel ---All control panel items ---Troubleshooting---view all---Internet
Explorer Performance.
Second , try to reset the IE8, click the
Tools button on the IE8 board, the click then Internet Options,
click the
Advanced tab, and then click Reset, in the
Reset Internet Explorer Settings dialog box, click
Reset, finally click the
close . Close Internet explorer and open it for the changes to take effect.
Besides, please confirm if you install only one anti-virus application, or maybe it will
lead to this issue.
