Hi , Try to disable Animate windows when minimizing and maximizing and see if you can minimize the window. 1. Go to Control Panel>System>Advanced System Settings>(Performance) Settings. 2. Click the Custom button, then empty Animate windows when minimizing and maximizing option (the 2nd option from the top). Hope it helps.Tracy Cai TechNet Community Support

Hi , I cannot reproduce the issue on my machine. Have you tested it on another machine? You may test the issue in Clean Boot to see if it is caused by the third party applications. Another consideration in getting the best possible display from your monitor is the screen refresh rate. If the refresh rate is too low, the monitor can flicker. You should select a refresh rate of at least 75 Hertz. For more information about reducing or eliminating flicker, see Correct monitor flicker (refresh rate).Tracy Cai TechNet Community Support

hi, the screen is not flickering, the RDP windows is flickering when you try to minimize it and you can't minimize, it just goes full screen, after you click minimize like 5-6 times it minimizes the monitor is not the reason in this case, it happens to many Windows 7 computers mostly laptops Regards George www.supportweblog.com

For more information about how to do a clean boot, please refer to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135 Besides, please install 2524668 hotfix to update the RDP related files, http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2524668 Regards, Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
