Do you receive any errors at all while logging on as the domain user? Also can you check under C:\users\ whether a new profile is created each time or if it is simply not saving the one already created?

OK - I think I have seen something similar before. Can you try the following?1. Login with the domain account2. set a few things up3. restart the PC4. login with a local admin account5. check c:\users for the domain account profile folder and delete if there6. go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList 7. delete the entire folder for the domain accountrestart, log in as the domain user and test again.Hope this will lead to a solution....

I am having the exact same issue. Everytime that i log on it gives me a clean profile. I tried KACENKA's idea to no avail. I am logging in as a domain admin in a win 2000 domain. running a 1 day old Dell Vostro 3500 i5-M560 with 6GB ram Anyone have any clues on a fix for this??

OK... here is a little more information. as it turns out the profile actually is getting removed when i log off. I logged in... added a file to the desktop just to make some sort of a profile change... then did a logoff and loged in as a local user and then looked in the c:\users directory and the profile name was not even there anymore. as a sidenote i had a non domanin administrator log in and rebooted and logged back on and it works just fine!! Really strange and frustrating!!
