Windows 7 DirectAccess functional only when Loopback adapter is disabled
I have DirectAccess fully functional on some Windows 7 clients however clients with a Microsoft Loopback adapter enabled are not able to connect. I believe DirectAccess is viewing the Loopback adapter as a managed domain and is not allowing me to connect. When I disable the MS Loopback adapter, DirectAccess connects without a problem. I need the loopback adapter on these Windows 7 clients because Oracle uses it to work on a local level. I there a work around for this? Is there a way to exclude the MS Loopback adapter from what DirectAccess sees?

I found the solution: Run Teredo in the enterpriseclient state rather than client. Here are the commands show the state: netsh interface teredo show state If you are in client mode and you are having the above issue switch to enterpriseclient mode with the following command: netsh interface teredo set state enterpriseclient
