I love the simplicity and menu options that Windows DVD Maker has, but my first go at using it, and the audio is missing from the .avi files I'm burning. I can play the .avi files with Media Player fine (with audio), and even preview them in Windows DVD Maker, however no audio shows up on the burned DVD. Please help me find a solution.

Hi, This could be caused by incompatible video and audio filter, I suggest you to restore the list of filters: 1. Open Windows DVD Maker by clicking the Start button. In the search box, type DVD Maker, and then, in the list of results, click Windows DVD Maker. 2. On the Turn your digital memories into a DVD page, click Choose Photos and Videos. 3. On the Add pictures and video to the DVD page, click Options. 4. Click the Compatibility tab. 5.
