Windows 7 DNS server not responding
Hello Guys!
For a few weeks now I had the same problem... Luckily I found this forum... I have a vaio tt27gd, I used W7 for several months. In July I installed McAfee firewall,it worked fine till the end of august.
I tried several of your solutions, in the end to the suggestion of uninstalling Norton I uninstalled my McAfee firewall. It worked! My internet connection is alive again! I hope it will be helpful for some of you too... Good luck!

Sometimes the Internet connection or network related problem is caused by faulty Winsock catalog after installing McAfee or other security related software, and by
resetting Winsock catalog as show here could solve the problem.
Hope this helps.
