Windows 7 Create Homegroup
I have a couple of windows 7 systems (one windows 7 rc and the other windows 7 professional, both x64) and would like to have both be in the same homegroup. However, there is another homegroup on the network I don't control and do not wish to use. Is there any way to create a second homegroup on the same network? (and if so, how would I go about doing that?)

Hi, Before we go further, I would appreciate your help in clarifying whether the Windows 7 machines are in a Workgroup or a domain. Please understand that the HomeGroup is a collection of PCs that are configured in the home that know about and trust each other. Each home network can have only one HomeGroup. Multiple HomeGroups on the same home network is not supported. Hence, I'm afraid that we cannot create a second HomeGroup on the same network. If you would like to create another HomeGroup, we need put the Windows 7 machines in another network with different IP subnet and router. For more information about HomeGroup, let's refer to the following article. At Home with HomeGroup in Windows 7 Thanks, Novak
