Hello everyone, I would like to understand how does the Bugcheck feature work and where is it stored before the actual dump. I'm asking this because i made a partition image backup (with Acronis TI) of vanilla 7 installation and then started installing drivers. One of the drivers appears to be faulty and causes BSODs. So i restored the image but the last Bugcheck still appears in Event log, although it wasn't there when i made the image. It's like the information of previous Bugcheck is still stored somewhere and Windows picks it up everytime. Will appreciate an explanation and how to clear this state. Thanks.
