Windows 7 Bluetooth
I have a Motorola RAZR VE-20 cell phone that supports Bluetooth Connectivity. When I first installed Windows 7 and paired this phone with my laptop, I could click on the Cell Phone in Devices and Printer and would get a screen that allow me to use several features, such as backup my phone, copy files etc. I recently had to re-install Win 7 (Professional) and tried to, once again, pair my pone.l The [airing succeeded after installing several drivers and the like, but when I cick on the device now, all I get is a Properties box. My Bluetooth device is a Logitech USB adaptor. This phone does work correctly with my Win 7 Professional desktop. Any suggestions?Windows 7 Professional RTM 2 GB memory 160 HD Networked (wired and wireless)Gateway Laptop HP Officejet 6310 All-in One inkjet printer Verizon FIOS Internet Connection

Uninstall and reinstall the software, if that didn't work, then uninstall and reinstall Windows Media Center. Here's more: Basic troubleshooting usually starts the same as with any other type of hardware devices. Try the following: · Make sure that the devices are supported by your operating system and then · Go to the manufacturer’s web site and download the latest version of software or drivers for those devices. While you’re there you might browse the site to see if there are known issues or other information for your device. · Make sure the Bluetooth device is listed in the Bluetooth Devices Browser in the Control Panel (keep in mind that some Bluetooth devices may install a custom dialog window for their device in the control panel). · Make sure that you’re system is up to date on any service packs and other updates for your operating system For additional troubleshooting, browse to the topics listed below for other scenarios that you may run into. You can also search the forums or even the manufacturer’s web sites for help for other issues with specific Bluetooth devices.
