Hi Milind,Did this card work the day before yesterday? Any software or hardware change during this span?Given this situation, System restore can be under consideration.Would youtell us the exact model of your Huawei data card? From the log file, I noticed it indicates a vista driver. Better find the compatible modem driver for windows 7, if no win7 driver available, try the vista driver and install it in compatible mode as follows:1. Right-click the exe. file and choose Properties.2. Under the Compatibility tab, please check the "Run this program in compatibility mode for" and choose "Windows Vista".3. Check the box before Run this program as an Administrator below.4. Click OK to save the settings.5. Follow the instruction to install the driver, and test. You can also go to Device Manager, check if there is any device with a yellow question mark. Also try update your Huaweidata card by right clicking on it-> Update driver software...

Hi Magon, Thank you for replying. No changes HW/SW have been made in the system. My data card model is EG162G for which windows 7 compatible driver is not yet available. A tool is available but i am yet to try it. As for vista driver i have been using it under Windows 7 for last a month or so without any problem. But the good news is it seems like the problem is solved after clean boot. Dont know which software entry exactly caused the problem though.I have reselected the programs i need to be started at start up and till now everything is running fine. Thank you once again. Regards, Milind

Good to hear the issue disappear in clean boot. Then the culprit is within the rest unselected items from start up. As everything is working fine, you can leave it like that. However, if you would like to know which program caused the issue, select one more item each time and restart the computer to see the result. If the issue reoccur, then the one you selected must be the culprit, leave it unselected or uninstall the program.
