Windows 7 Backup recuring schedule
Is there no way to run a backup on an interval through out the day? There is no way to do it through the GUI that I can see. I've tried scripting wbadmin however I'm only backing up user profiles (that's all I want backed up) and wbadmin refuses to allow me to do that even though the GUI does. I'm aware of other options such as robocopy however I really want to be able to back up files in use (PST files for example) via VSS.

Hi, Regarding the issue, you could set the trigger for automatic backup in Task Scheduler. 1.Open Task Scheduler. 2. Move to Task Scheduler Library\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsBackup. 3.Double click AutomaticBackup in right panel. 4.Click Tiggers tag and chose New to create a new tigger. Hope that helpsWilliam Tan TechNet Community Support

Thanks, I should have thought to dig in the task scheduler. Rather than create a new trigger I changed the existing trigger to run on an interval. Any how, this is perfect, thanks again.
