Windows 7 BSOD with Checkpoint SecureClient in Visitor mode
Hi, We're using Checkpoint SecureClient R60 HFA2 on Windows 7 RC. When I configured the SecureClient to work in Visitor mode and trying to connect to the VPN site the Windows 7 is getting BSOD. Any solution? Udi.

Same problem with me. When SecureClient starts updating policies in visitor mode, Windows 7 crashes with BSOD! Solution is needed badly - i need to keep Virtual Windows XP on my machine because of this.

I'm dealing with Microsoft on this issue at "Windows 7 Application Compatibility Support for ISVs " forum but they still have no answer. Now I opened a case at the MSDN. I will update once I'll have some news.

Have you got McAfee installed ? Get McAfee Patch 1 (for 8.07) as it may help to avoid BSOD which I also got ....

No McAfee at all.

Hi!Are you guys running 32-bit Windows 7? I'm trying to runSecurClient (NGX R60 HFA-02 Supplement 3) on a 64-bit Windows 7 and I cannot even get the checkpoint services to start. Thus, I don't even get to go so far so that I can have a BSOD. Since I'm not dependent on using visitor mode I was kind of hoping that it would work for me, but alas, it didn't. Anyone out there with any success using 64-bit Win 7?/Mns

Hi Udi, I recently found this: http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/ent-security.nsf/docid/2006081109544248
This solved my problem with CheckPoint R60 and BSOD in Windows 7.....
When you get BSOD, make a note of the displayed hex code (I had 0x000000C4....).
If you get another one, you'll have to investigate the cause.
The blue sreen in my case appeared because of a specific DRIVER VERIFICATION handle.

Hello, Latest SecureClient:
(VPN-1_SecureClient_NGX_R60_HFA_02_Supplement_3_630002002) is not supported on x64 platforms.
However, it works on Windows 7 Beta build.
Can you give more details on the Windows 7 version you tried to run it on?
