Hi,With win 7 64bit. the refresh rate has been scaled down to max 85HZ.I have a trinitron monitor that can run 110HZ at 1024x768 32bit, and has done so with Vista 64 bit. I have been talking with Sony that explaines it is not a driver problem, as the CRT mon. are Generic and so don't need any.Neither is it the videocard drivers, as they support any settings, they just are rejected by a "windows 64bit security check".The check simply doesn't take into account what actually isrunning. Also i prefere the non flickering at 100 over sharper colors at 85, due to fatique. Is it a Bug ? If not, the old system where you could adjust the settings to your needs, is much to prefere.Thank YouBreydel99

This kind of issues can be related to the video adapter driver. You may upgrade the driver to the latest version. If it does not help, please let us know how can you set the refresh rate to 110HZ in Windows Vista. Did you install some tools that can help in improving refresh rate? Windows 7 overrule both the monitor and the video card driver settings, no matter what refresh rates they support. Open videocard management and in advanced settings, set the refresh rate to 100hz, when you test the settings, they are confirmed to work. Clicking ok to keep the settings,the rate is scaled down by windowsto 85hz.The monitor is a SonyCPD-G220, supporting 110hz at 1024x768 32bitVideo: Nvidea 8800GT with latest drivers.In Vista 64 bitno tools are nessasary, as you canmanually choose from a list, any rate from 50 to 110hz 1024x768 32bit. With windows 7 only 85 hz is displayed, using the same video driver.Breydel99

UpdateOn the Nvidea forums they explaine that supporthas beendroped for CRT, with drivers later than 182.50 (april).Still with vista 64bit, 100hz were possible using the 190.62 driver.??Canconfirme with windows 7-64 bit, the 182.50 driverhas support for 100hz1024x768 32bit !Breydel99

so its the win7 problem then? i found it strange after i format to win7 x64 from vista x86 my resolution at vista x86 is 1600x900 at 75hz but now at win7 x64 i only only got 60hz at 1600x900 resolution my graphic driver is GeForce 9600gt..
