Basically... windows won't start up when I boot, so it goes to the fixing screen trying to repair it automatically, which it can't; then I manually choose an earlier point to restore it at and it works; boots fine and runs ok, etc. However, as soon as I turn the pc off and back on I have the same issue again and it won't boot windows. I looked on the pending software updates when I did it last and it's just windows and microsoft stuff, only 4 updates. But regardless of that, there's nothing I can do to stop them updating when I turn off and thus having the same problem every time I use the computer? Edit: I think it could be a driver issue, but I cannot restore to a point before I installed it.
