Windows 7 64bit STOP Error Code 0x000000F4
Hello, I got a BSOD when my computer was almost idle (only utorrent was running) with stop error code 0x000000F4. Also at the blue screen it got stuck at the 2nd step (don't remember what it says) and as a result I don't have a minidump file. My pc specs are: Motherboard: ASUS Rampage III Extreme CPU: Intel i7 - 950 @ 3,00GHz RAM: 3x2GB @ 1866MHz Windows Drive: 60GB SSD (OCZ Agility) OS: Windows 7 Ultimate Sp1 64bit This has happened quite a few times during the 1 year I have this computer. The previous times the SSD I had (Corsair F60) stopped working. (2 SSDs dead) The problem is that I cannot reproduce the problem so that we find out the cause. Is it something with the controller of the motherboard? What should I do? Thank you for your time!

The Stop 0xF4 (CRITICAL_OBJECT_TERMINATION) indicates that a process or thread crucial to system operation has unexpectedly exited or been terminated: when such a process or thread is terminated for any reason, the system can no longer function. Download and run the program that you find at the following web address http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/blue_screen_view.html It will scan your hard drive looking for crash dump files and collecting informations about the crash and the involved modules: post here the results of the anlysis so we can try to understand what went wrong and how you can solve this problem. @ PSPUSER Im having the same problem on a asus rampage 3 Black edition MB and using a Kingston hyperX SSD on the 6GB marvel controller AHCI mode Im getting the same event id's 41 and 6008 I hope I'm wrong, but to me it seems like sandforce tech on a marvel controller is a no go but if we switch to the 3 GB intel controller we lose transfer speed and might cause other issues like bottle necks in transferring data.

Hi, To troubleshoot this kind of crash issue, we need to debug the crashed system dump. Unfortunately, debugging is beyond what we can do in the forum. A suggestion would be to contact Microsoft Customer Service and Support (CSS) via telephone so that a dedicated Support Professional can assist with your request. Please be advised that contacting phone support will be a charged call. To obtain the phone numbers for specific technology request please take a look at the web site listed below: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=fh;EN-US;OfferProPhone#faq607 I hope the problem will be resolved soon. Thank you for your time and cooperation! This might be an issue if the paging file is not setup properly on the computer, follow the steps below to setup the paging file: 1. Right click on Computer. 2. Click on Properties. 3. Click on Advanced System Settings. 4. Click on settings in Performance under Advanced Tab. 5. Click on Advanced Tab in Performance Options Window. 6. Click on Change. 7. Uncheck “automatically manage Paging File size for all drives”. 8. Select C:/drive. 9. Select “System Managed Size”. 10. Click Set. 11. Click OK. 12. Now restart the computer when it prompts for a restart. If the issue still persists, then you may try Memory test, follow the steps below: 1. Click Start. 2. Type in Windows Memory Diagnostic in Start Search. 3. Click on Restart now and check for problems. This will fix any memory related issues on the computer, make sure save all the files before you perform this test. If the issue still persists, then I suggest that you run virus scan on the computer and check.

Hello I reinstalled my computer on 21-12-2012 (last week) I've had no problem till 30 minutes ago. got the same BSOD. I had followed the steps above and have some comments on it: <<The BSOD occured when csrss.exe was running. Have a look to that: http://www.ehow.com/how_2104293_solve-csrssexe-problem.html>> Step 1: I did the virus scan (avast free antivirus) on that file and on the system32 folder (Noting found) Step 2: I coudn't find that tool Stap 3: I looked within task manager and find 2 process called csrss.exe (both in the windows/system32 folder) the csrcc.exe file timestamp is: made: 14-07-2009, 1:19:49 changed: 14-07-2009, 3:39:02 Step 4: startup folder? where is that? Step 5: I didn't do that one. <Please disable all security softwares you are using and check again.> I didn't do that one either. @Mark Louis I did all the steps and find it but is was the default setting. Info about last BSOD: before: I just had installed Messenger. during BSOD: he tryed to make dmp files but he count or didn't.. (just was waiting) and then rebooted the computer after BSOD: the computer cound't find the SSD driver (like all the outher times) I reboted the computer and the computer cound't find my keybord (logitech G19, but after starting windows I unplugged it and than it worked again) Logbook (dutch version of windows) i don't got a minidump folder and also no MEMORY.DMP can it be physical damage? and to which part (SSD?) ? It's preferable to use normal HDD with torrent and filesharing apps since these are stressing SSDs to the point of breaking. Utorrent sends a lot of read-write commands to your HDD, and the SSD has a limit of times it can be rewritten.

I only have installed windows and drivers (and some standaard programs like Flashplayer) on my ssd and moved all my document to my normal HDD. maybe it will help if I move the localtemp to my HDD too. -------- This is apparently not worth. -----
