Windows 7 64bit: Event 10 WMI freezes computer
Hey there, I have serious problems with Windows 7 Professional SP1 64-bit. When working with an CAD software (Vectorworks 2012 32bit) the display freezes after a while and in most cases it will display blue stripes. The only thing I can do then is to reboot the machine. When checking the event log it says: Ereignisfilter mit Abfrage "SELECT * FROM __InstanceModificationEvent WITHIN 60 WHERE TargetInstance ISA "Win32_Processor" AND TargetInstance.LoadPercentage > 99" konnte im Namespace "//./root/CIMV2" nicht reaktiviert werden aufgrund des Fehlers 0x80041003. Ereignisse knnen nicht durch diesen Filter geschickt werden, bis dieses Problem gelst ist. Surely I already checked the internet but the only answers I found so far were about how to delete the error messages instead of how to fix the problem behind it. I'm working on a Intel Core i7-2700K, 3,5 GHz, 16GB, AMD Radeon HD 6900 Series graphic chip. I would be really happy about any help! Many thanks in advance ;)!

I don't know if you have seen this link or not. You can run "Fix this problem" if you want to get rid of it. http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-US;2545227 This originated in the Windows 7 SP1 DVD/ISO creation process. There was an issue in the creation process that caused a WMI registration to remain in the DVD/ISO. Since the registration is designed to work only during the DVD/ISO creation process, it fails to run on a live system and causes these events. These events are not indicative of any issue in the system and can be safely ignored. If however you want to prevent these events from getting generated and want to remove this specific WMI registration manually, please follow the steps mentioned in this article for running the workaround script

Hey there, First of all thank you guys for your fast response. Unfortunately the Microsoft's 'Fix It' didn't solve the problem. Now the error doesn't appear in the log but Windows still freezes randomly. Any suggestions what I can do? @MikeBurr: Do you know how I can assign the missing permission to an application? Thanks so much!
