Windows 7 64 bit no sound on 5.1 speakers

I have Windows 7 64 bit Installed on my PC. I have Logitec 5.1 sound X530 speakers. The speakers are set as default but yet I am not getting any sound from these.

Note: In Control pannel I do not see the 5.1 sound option either they only show as Right and left but no sound is working this all happened after a Windows update last week

Can someone please help

Double check that you have the LATEST audio driver and that there are not the same TWO audio devices. For sure, try speakers in another computer.

Hi,

Firstly, please let us know whether other speakers can work properly.

Meanwhile, based on my research, please try the following:

1. Make sure that the device and the connections are good.

2. Update your sound card driver to the latest.
Reference:
Sound cards: frequently asked questions

3. Refer to
No sound in Windows and try the steps.

However, if issue persists and other speakers can work properly, it is recommended to contact
Logitech Support for help.

Hope this helps.

Hi thanks for your prompt reply. I have checked the speakers on another PC and they work fine (I have an old PC so I replaced all connections at the back of PC so nothing different). I have tried to paste all checks (screen shots)I was
asked to do pasted below.
Please clarify TWO audio Devices, do you mean headsets and speakers or do you mean on the PC setup? On the PC setup there seems to be 2 (As you will see from the screen shots), one is digital have tried to both with no luck.

I am using a Asus Motherboard M5 A 78l-M LX V2
