Windows 7 64 bit duplicate IP address
I have new windows 7 machines when i plug them into the network they immediatly recieve a duplicate ip address error. if you plu in a xp machine they work fine with the same ip address. They are plugged in pc --- > Switch (cisco 3560) --- > ASA 5520 What could be causeing this? Is there a way for me to setup windows to ignore this?

Make sure you don't have any loops in the network. Is spanning tree enabled on the switches?Visit: anITKB.com, an IT Knowledge Base.
