Windows 7 64-bit printing on server 2003 32-bit
Is there some specific reason you need to print through the 2003 server? If the printer is connected to the network it should be possible to print directly to it. Enable LPD printing (Print Services for UNIX) and create a new local LPR port. When asked for the address of the server enter the printer's IP address. For the name of the printer or queue enter RAW. Then just pick your driver and you should be all set.

I’m having a problem printing to a Xerox network printer 232 WorkCentre. Here’s a little background on the problem, we have 2 32-bit Windows 2003 server R2 running as domain controller and mostly 32-bit XP client. I’m working on upgrading the Engineering department to Windows 7 Pro 64-bit. I have installed a new 32-bit Xerox 232 Workcentre on one of the domain controller and download the same driver version but 64-bit for the Win 7 client machine. I was able to get two Win 7 clients to work with the Xerox printer but on the other machines they will not work. I’m able to connect to the printer but when I tried to do a test page it failures. I have deleted the registry and re-connect the printer, still same issue. I tried Administrator’s profile, still fail. Please help.

Install windows 7 64 Pro and loaded 64-bit printer driver. Remapped all workstations to the new Workstation with 64-bit driver.
