Windows 7 64-bit applications can't connect to Internet , but 32-bit applications can
I have Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. I can't connect to internet using 64-bit application such is IE9 or Opera. All 32-bit applications work fine (IE9, Opera, Skype etc.). I have the same problem in MS Office 2010 64-bit when I try to open hyperlink in MS Excel or Word. I use Eset Smart Security 64-bit. I checked firewall settings, tried create rules for IE9 64-bit, turn-off the firewal, uninstall the Eset, run Windows in Safe Mode with Networking - nothing. I checked the Event log for errors and I didn't find anything. Can anybody help me?

1. Are there any traces in event log(s)? 2. There is general troubleshooting IE http://support.microsoft.com/kb/956196/en-us 3. I would try to catch and analyze network traffic. Otherwise I would give a try to analyze processes (Process Monitor). Regards Milos
