Windows 7 64-bit Ultimate with BSOD
I have a HP EliteBook 8740w laptop and newly installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit onto it.
I have also installed all the drivers and updates which worked fine and after a couple days, there are BSOD dump couple times a day, which is frustrating, it could give me the dump out of the blue while I am in the middle of the work. Anyone have any
ideas?
What I have done after all the updates and drivers between the dump.
1) Installed MS Office 2010 pro
2) Installed 2 network wireless printer
3) Installed Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.0.5
4) Moved my old files and folders from my old laptop
5) Set up Outlook with the old .pst files and accounts
Any ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Can you post the dump file or tell us what the error message was after or before BSOD?"Everything we do is dictated by motive."

To see the cause I have to take a look at the dumps with the Debugging Tools for Windows.
Please start the Windows Explorer and go to the folder C:\Windows\Minidump. Next, copy the dmp files to your desktop, zip all dmp into 1 zip file and upload the zip file to your public Skydrive [1] folder and post a link here.

From what I can see this driver belongs to Symantec. So update your Symantec programs.
