Windows 7 .NET 2.0 corrupted
Hi, I've got a problem: Everytime I start a program that uses the .NET 2.0 Accessibility dll, I get the following error: "The file or assembly 'Accessibility, Version=2.0.0.0,Culture=neutral,PublicKeytoken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a' or a dependency has no been found. Manifest msising from module" (note: Translation from German error output - actual english wording may vary) Now, I tried to scan and repair via sfc. I get errors like these: 2010-09-28 09:53:41, Info CSI 00000093 [SR] Cannot repair member file [l:18{9}]"ehres.dll" of Microsoft-Windows-ehome-ehres, Version = 6.1.7600.16385, pA = PROCESSOR_ARCHITECTURE_AMD64 (9), Culture neutral, VersionScope = 1 nonSxS, PublicKeyToken = {l:8 b:31bf3856ad364e35}, Type neutral, TypeName neutral, PublicKey neutral in the store, hash mismatch 2010-09-28 09:53:45, Info CSI 00000095 [SR] Cannot repair member file [l:18{9}]"ehres.dll" of Microsoft-Windows-ehome-ehres, Version = 6.1.7600.16385, pA = PROCESSOR_ARCHITECTURE_AMD64 (9), Culture neutral, VersionScope = 1 nonSxS, PublicKeyToken = {l:8 b:31bf3856ad364e35}, Type neutral, TypeName neutral, PublicKey neutral in the store, hash mismatch 2010-09-28 09:53:45, Info CSI 00000096 [SR] This component was referenced by [l:176{88}]"Microsoft-Windows-MediaCenter-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~6.1.7600.16385.MediaCenter" 2010-09-28 09:53:45, Info CSI 00000099 [SR] Could not reproject corrupted file [ml:520{260},l:40{20}]"\??\C:\Windows\ehome"\[l:18{9}]"ehres.dll"; source file in store is also corrupted or 2010-09-28 10:04:12, Info CSI 00000267 [SR] Cannot repair member file [l:34{17}]"Accessibility.dll" of Accessibility, Version = 6.1.7600.16385, pA = PROCESSOR_ARCHITECTURE_MSIL (8), Culture neutral, VersionScope neutral, PublicKeyToken = {l:8 b:b03f5f7f11d50a3a}, Type neutral, TypeName neutral, PublicKey neutral in the store, hash mismatch 2010-09-28 10:04:13, Info CSI 00000269 [SR] Cannot repair member file [l:34{17}]"Accessibility.dll" of Accessibility, Version = 6.1.7600.16385, pA = PROCESSOR_ARCHITECTURE_MSIL (8), Culture neutral, VersionScope neutral, PublicKeyToken = {l:8 b:b03f5f7f11d50a3a}, Type neutral, TypeName neutral, PublicKey neutral in the store, hash mismatch 2010-09-28 10:04:13, Info CSI 0000026a [SR] This component was referenced by [l:202{101}]"Microsoft-Windows-Foundation-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~6.1.7600.16385.WindowsFoundationDelivery" I'm pretty bummed about what this actually means. My first intuition was to re-install .NET 2.0 - but obviously that does not work with Windows 7. Can anybody help me here?

You can't reinstall .net 2.0. Extract the corrupted files from your Windows DVD and replace the damaged files: http://blog.nirsoft.net/2009/09/17/how-to-extract-missing-system-files-from-the-dvd-of-windows-7vista/ André"A programmer is just a tool which converts caffeine into code" CLIP- Stellvertreter http://www.winvistaside.de/

No, sorry, that didn't help. I copied all the files from the original disc into my Windows\.NET Framework\2.xxxx\ directory. I restarted and whatnot. It didn't fix my problem. There must be something else...
